Lynn had been a member of the Memory care unit at Benton House in Blue
Springs, MO since September of 2023.
As far as I know at this writing there was no obituary published at his passing. I was told of his passing by his niece Jana Johnson Thompson.
I will try and piece together some of the information that I have found on Lynn.
He was born March 12, 1942 in San Francisco, CA. and grew up mostly in Independence, MO. He attended Bristol elementary school, and graduated from Van Horn.
After graduating high school, he attended KC Junior College and worked for
Western Electric in Lee's Summit before being drafted. While serving 2 years
in the Army
he was stationed at the Pentagon in Washington DC where he won the Good Conduct Award. After getting out of the Army he went to work for TWA and
worked there for 30 years before retiring.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents Harvey & Eleanor Johnson, older brother Warren (VH '56) and his daughter Teresa and his latest wife Lucy in
2024, a cousin Robert Irwin (VH '60) He is survived by his daughter Annette, a granddaughter, and nephews Tim & Mike Johnson, a niece Jana Thompson and many other relatives and close friends.
I have gathered this information from the old VH reunion booklets and his brother Warren's obituary of 2006. Rest in Peace my friend. You are missed
