William Robert "Billy" McElwee, age 68 of Rockvale,passed away on Wednesday June 15, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Billy was born in Independence, Missouri and was the son of the late Beauford Clyde and Elaine Claire Stark McElwee. Billy is survived by his loving wife, Susan Borum McElwee; daughters Alex McElwee of Portland, Oregon and Erin B. McElwee of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Cynthia Jane Dodson and Carol Lyn Barnett both of Kansas City, Missouri and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service to celebrate Billy's life will be at Five o'clock on the afternoon of Monday June 19, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Billy loved music and played the saxophone and loved spending time with his family. Billy was preceded in death by his parents Beauford Clyde and Elaine Claire Stark McElwee and a sister Gale Arlene Miller.
