| Bio | Dennis Alfred Wieners, 77, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove.
Dennis was born June 18, 1948, in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, the son of Howard A. and Ruth A. (Collier) Wieners. He grew up in Independence, MO, and graduated from Van Horn High School in 1966. Dennis married Willene Shipman on April 6, 1967, and started their family. They moved to their home in Oak Grove, MO, where they lived for 58 years. They had recently moved to Burlington Junction, MO, to be closer to their daughter. Dennis worked most of his years as a carpenter / sheetrock worker. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Jaycees and the Odd Fellows for many years. Dennis had a love of racing, golfing, traveling, woodworking, fishing, and hunting. He was a man of few words, was content in life, had a great sense of humor, and loved his family above all else.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; sister Juliah; son Wayne; granddaughter Bailey; and 2 nephews.
He is survived by his wife, Willene; daughter, Denise Gant (Randall); two grandchildren, Chris Samuels (Kayla) and Chelley Giesken; two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Silas Samuels; one brother; and several nieces and nephews. |
