Bio | Larry A. Henderson of Warsaw, Missouri born on February 9, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2015. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Clara and John Henderson, brothers Raymond, Marland , Ivan and John. Sisters, Maxine and Verna. Larry is survived by his wife Vicky of 47 years; son Mark Henderson and wife Rena; daughters, Mindy Willis and Missy Jenniges and husband Brandon; grandchildren, MacKenzie, Ryan and Andrew Willis; Abigayle Taras and Kolby Henderson and step-grand children Devon and Brittaney Caldwell and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and sister-in-law JoAnn Henderson. Larry graduated from Van Horn High School in 1968. He retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad in Fort Worth, Texas in 2010 after 42 years of dedicated service. He celebrated life dancing, listening to music, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and spending quality time with family and friends were his top priority. One of his greatest attributes was his love of our Lord and leading others to Christ. He had many other great qualities including his sense of humor, his love for people and animals and dedication to his family. There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, September 26, 2015. It will be an open house from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at 2203 NW Chipman Rd in Lee's Summit, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the American Cancer Society. |
