Maureen Ann “Mo” Shockley, 62, of Independence Missouri, passed away on March 6, 2015. Maureen was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 21, 1952 to Barbara (Caldwell) and Glen Fisher. Maureen graduated from Saint Luke's School of Nursing, where she received her RN degree. Maureen was married to James Ray Shockley on April 20th, 1974. Mo was loved and respected by so many for her amazing sense of humor, awesome smile and nurturing, tender spirit. She loved Water gardening and they built numerous fish ponds and waterfalls by hand in their beautiful backyard. They won many awards from the KC Watergarden Society. The "Beirgarden" is where friends and family gathered and had many laughs. Maureen was survived by; mother Barbara Fisher; husband James; daughters Leslie Shockley and Jennifer Shockley (Jeff Mullins, son-in-law); grandchildren Bailey and Keegan Mullins; Sister Debra Fisher-Osborne (David) and daughter Kaylee; Brother Patrick Fisher (Michele) and sons Ryan and Bradley; Brother Kelly Fisher.Visitation will be from 1-3 pm, March 14, 2015 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, The Memorial Service will follow, beginning at 3:00 pm at the Chapel.
