Bio     I've been living in Independence all my life and am now in Country Meadows off Lee's Summit Road. My wife Anita and I have two adult children, Matthew,12-2-79 and Lindsay,11-4-82, and both are teachers. Linz is married now, but we have no grandchildren yet. Since 1980 I've been in the elevator trade, servicing and repairing units all over the city but mostly downtown. My main building is at 1201 Walnut. I never did much with art except to use it in my hobby which is woodworking, crafts and, Oh yeah, reunion decorations. (Does anyone need any prom decorations? I've got a boat load of palm trees and tropical plants in my basement). I've also been active in the Boy Scouts since school. I've been back to camp every year since 91, and since 1999 as a volunteer commissioner of conservation. I'm a Keeper of the Wampum in Micosay,...some of you will know what that is. In the last few years one of my biggest thrills has been reuniting with old, and I do mean old, school mates by getting involved with class reunion planning. It's a real hoot. Working on these things is more fun than actually going to the party. You should all attend your reunions. The last one in 2010 turned out great and I think that everyone had a good time. Hopefully, I'll see you'all again at the next reunion. Later. Steve (Updated 7-20-11)
