Bio     I have done a lot of living to this point and plan to do a lot more! Let me tell you a little more about myself and my life. I always had a hard time keeping quiet as many of you well know. I love all kinds of music and I think really reflects how think, live love and survive through life. Music changes with the times and the artist that write it. my very most favorite is classical rock and roll and my least favorite is modern rap and country music. I love to go to concerts and live performances of all types. Jazz, blues, and the classics are a close second since most of rock and roll originated from these type's of sounds. I will talk more about this later, so let me tell you a little more about myself. We live on 20 acres in the country just two miles north of farley which is located approximately 5 miles east of Leavenworth Kansas and about 10 miles west of the kci airport on the Missouri side and 10 miles south of Platte City. we have a breathtaking view of the Missouri River Valley and can see 10 miles all directions. i built my house in 1989 and have enjoyed it very much. my daughter took a photography class at school and everyone kept asking her "where do you get all these great pictures, did you have to spend the weekend traveling? she replied...."i just had to go outside!!!" My daughter lives with me full-time and attends west Platte high school where she is a varsity cheerleader and, also I might say, a heart throb for most the boys at school. She works part time at kols and wants to go to college in 2 years I think at central Missouri State and major in interior design. my sweet little angle can be a real pain when comes to her wardrobe. I think she has least 50 pair of shoes which none of them fit, enough changes of clothes to last 3 months, I am always hearing those don't fit, that color is not right for me anymore because I changed my hair color, wear the same formal more than once, never! But it's on sale, dad, we should buy six! I really think we should go by old navy and check those new outfits they got in last week, they might run out dad, then I would not have thing to wear. sorry, I did exaggerate a little bit! but my credit card sure feels it. she only weighs 100lbs. and hasn't changed size in a couple of years. seriously, we do have a lot of fun together and I am going to miss her when she goes off to college.....she's my little girl. My son is attending college at Westminster college in Fulton, Missouri. We had quite a year last year at west Platte high school. My son played varsity football and won the state championship as my daughter cheered him on to victory. he is also a 4-H area representative, and president, FBLA officer, and has achieved many other certificates of achievement. Last year he received a participation and achievement scholarship and is playing college football, student government, golf and, the big thing, getting passing grades at school! we are best friends and I miss him.....I am sorry if I talked to much about my kids but, believe it or not, all the time you spend with them does pay off and dreams do come true! I am very proud of both of them My dog," Samantha", is a 2 year old Labrador that still thinks she is puppy and has enough energy for all three of us. we got her as Christmas present from my nephew last year. she was crowned doggy of the month at the kc pound complete with papers and all. last fall we took her to one of my sons football games and went to the lake of the Ozarks afterwards. We were only there for less than 2 minutes, around midnight, and she found the water! I think she spent over half the weekend in the water jumping off the dock and exploring the shore line. She slept all the way home in the van. since we live in the country, she has a lot of room to run and spends the day chasing just about anything, rolling around in the snow or grass, and chewing up just about everything! The more attention you give her, the more she gives back. one her favorite things she does is to lay down while she drinks! As I mentioned, I have been self employed for the past 20 years designing and building custom cabinets and furniture. my work week usually consist of approximately 60 hours of shop time, selling, and installation. One of the nicest things about it, even though it can be demanding, I don't have to answer to any one on an hourly basis. not to brag but, I am a very creative person with a strong art background and like to work with my hands. I tend go after the very exotic and high end custom woodworking projects. I have many established clients and have never run out of work. one of my clients, located at 9th and main in commerce tower ,that we are currently making office furniture, credenzas, desks, and cabinets, gave me a key because we do so much work for them. they must think I should work a few nights since I am always fashionably late on delivery schedules, where is the LOVE...... I have a lot of fun with my clients. I was married for 18 years and have been divorced for about a year and a half. My life was turned completely upside down when she left the state to be with her new love. I don't think I will ever be the same, but I am getting stronger every day and looking forward to establishing new relationships and friends I still have many challenges ahead of me raising my daughter and helping my son get though college. I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't think I would have survived without them to take care of these last couple of years. I have no regrets and cherished every moment we had together.... which will never be again.....she was my best friend . I went to a little concert last week in St Joe and needed a date, I took my little sister instead. You guessed it! Kansas and the sensational STYX. the show opened with smoke fog filled arena. dark with a bright fire red banner behind the stage as the name "STYX" appeared through that misty air. the sound came on, lights and their they where on stage playing "too much time on my hands" it was awesome! they played some new songs that have potential and mixed them with classics like "miss America", "grand illusion", "luaralie let's live together", "your fooling your self", and the grand faunally, "come sail away" the encore was" renegade"......"o mama I'm in fear for myself from the long arm of the law".........everyone was on their feet and the place went crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have probably attended over fifty concerts in my time and seems they're always special. you should have been there! the ultimate first date. I could not sleep for three hours!until about 3:00 am....WHAT A NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY HIGHSCHOOL DAYS WERE GREAT, ALL THE FREINDS, GIRLS AND GUYS, I WILL NEVER FORGET. IT MADE GROING UP AND MY TEEN YEARS REALLY FUN. I CHARISH ALL MY MEMORIES AND LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING UP WITH EVERYONE IN THE FUTURE. YOU ARE ALL VERY SPECIAL TO ME IN SOME WAY.
