| Bio | Jackie Lee Jordan, 58 of Holden, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at St. Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit. Jackie was born August 19, 1955 in Independence, Missouri the daughter of Jack and Faye (Proctor) Thomason. She graduated from Van Horn High School in Independence. She was united in marriage to Terry Maxwell Jordan on July 28, 1984 in Independence. The couple made their home in Independence until moving near Holden in 1991. Jackie was employed with Serco, Incorporated in Lee's Summit for many years. She enjoyed cross stitching, crossword puzzles, listening to her favorite music and frogs. Survivors include her mother: Faye Thomason of Clinton, MO; daughter: Jennifer Jordan of Holden, MO; son: Kyle Jordan of Holden, MO; stepdaughter: Katrina Jordan of Independence, MO; two stepsons: Joseph Jordan of Garden City, MO and Matt Jordan of Kansas City, MO; three sisters: Shirley Thomason of Holden, MO; Carolyn Sanderson and husband, Bill of Clinton, MO and Tina Thomason also of Clinton, MO and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry and her father, Jack. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Reverend Charles Brant officiating. Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. |
