Bio     Barbara Lyn Galpin, 48, passed away Monday, June 6, 2005, at the Monterey Park Care Center. Barbara was born July 11, 1956, in Kansas City, Mo. She had been a paralegal for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Audrey (Quellhorst) Schweer. Her survivors include her husband, James Steven Galpin; daughter, Rachel Lyn Galpin; son, Andrew Steven Galpin; brother, Keith Schweer and wife, Connie; and a sister, Karen Greenall and husband, Robert. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 10, at Messiah Lutheran Church, Independence. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas city. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Friday at the church. The family suggests memorial contributions to the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Park Lawn Funeral Home, Kansas City, (816) 523-1234.
