Bio     Tamra Sue Myers, age 67, of Gravois Mills, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026, at her home. She was born September 26, 1958, in Joplin. She was the daughter of the late Jimmie N. and Linda L. (Anderson) Norris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clay Myers. Tammy spent much of her life working in sales, but her most important roles were those of wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time at the lake and could often be found at home with a Diet Coke in hand, watching the birds and deer in the yard. Tammy had a special place in her heart for her dogs. She enjoyed good food, whether at home or at her favorite restaurants, and never passed up a chance for shopping, especially when there was a great sale. Tammy had a love for shoes and handbags, traveling to new places, listening to music, and watching movies. Tammy was known for her big personality. She was loud, chatty, opinionated, and never afraid to say exactly what she thought. She is survived by her children: Ken (Jessica) Myers, Cara (Toby) Cox, and Keith Myers; her sisters Tonya Norris, Trena Norris, and Teanna O'Neill; her grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 11a-2p at the Lee's Summit VFW located at 329 SE Douglas St. Tammy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. Per her wishes, she will be cremated.
