| Bio | Jo passed away from cancer, but kept her spirit up until the end. Jo Ann Watterson, 56, of Higginsville, Missouri, passed away November 10, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive family and friends for Celebration of Life gathering 3-6 p.m. Saturday November 15, 2014, at the home. Jo Ann was born July 7, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Robert & Lucille (Burch) Watterson. Jo Ann enjoyed fishing, hunting, and doing ceramics. She worked in the elevator industry for 20 years. The last 10 years Jo Ann worked at Bucks Country Mart in Higginsville. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers. Jo Ann is survived by her companion: Christopher Lightfoot of the home; sister: Mary Watterson of the home; niece: Tiffany Page & husband Don of Lago Vista, TX, nephew: Matt Watterson & wife Jana of Pleasant Hill, MO; great-nieces: Dylan Watterson & Raegan Watterson.
