| Bio | Pamela Miriam Garcia, of Independence, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024. Pamela was born on August 5, 1958. She was adopted by Sam and Grace Waxman. She graduated from Van Horn High School in Independence, Missouri. She went to Graceland University and received her degree in teaching. She taught English and Spanish classes during her teaching career. After teaching for 20 years, she worked to receive her master's degree in counseling from Central Missouri State University. She then became the guidance counselor at William Chrisman High School in the Independence School District. In her free time, Pam enjoyed gardening, shopping, going to Chiefs games and most of all spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her daughter: Tara; son: Dane and grandson: Watson. Pam will have a celebration of life with her family and friends at a private location.
